Electrical Studies and Engineering in Saltillo
We assess your electrical installation to support maintenance, expansion, and compliance decisions with reliable technical data.
Deciding without data costs more
Expanding a production line, adding load, or preparing for an audit without knowing the real condition of your installation can lead to failures, cost overruns, or non-compliance.
A technical study shows you where the risk is and what to address first.
Engineering applied to your plant
Our team combines field experience in maintenance and testing with technical analysis, so the recommendations we deliver can actually be executed at your facility.
Included services
- Electrical installation condition assessment
- Compliance review against applicable standards
- Analysis for expansions or new loads
- Technical recommendations and action plan
- Electrical system technical documentation
From diagnosis to decision
| Service | Technical Objective | Operational Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Installation assessment | Understand the real condition of equipment and circuits. | Prioritizes maintenance where the risk is highest. |
| Standards review | Identify non-compliant points. | Eases audits and reduces legal and safety risks. |
| Expansion analysis | Confirm whether the installation can handle new loads. | Prevents overloads and downtime as the operation grows. |
What we assess
Substations
Condition of medium- and high-voltage equipment.
Transformers
Condition and capacity against current and future load.
Switchgear and protection
Condition and capacity of in-plant power distribution.
Plant installations
Circuits, raceways, and critical loads.
Our process
Site survey
We walk the installation and gather the available technical information.
Measurements and review
We inspect equipment and operating conditions on site.
Analysis
We evaluate risk, capacity, and compliance.
Report and plan
We deliver findings and prioritized recommendations.

Electrical studies across Saltillo and the Coahuila industrial region
Our electrical studies combine site measurements with the experience of a field crew, so the recommendations are practical and can be executed in your plant. We work with your engineering, maintenance, and EHS teams from the first walk-through to the final report.
- Coverage
- Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe, and industrial parks across Coahuila. Other regions on request.
- Response
- Scheduled work is planned with your team. Failures that stop production get 24/7 emergency response.
- Deliverable
- A technical report with the current condition, risks, and a prioritized plan with next steps.
When to request electrical studies
Electrical studies are most useful before you make a decision that depends on your installation:
- Adding a production line or a large new load
- Preparing for a customer, insurance, or NOM audit
- Buying or leasing an existing industrial building
- Planning a substation or transformer upgrade
- Recurring failures with no clear root cause
- Missing or outdated single-line diagrams
Electrical studies FAQ
What kinds of electrical studies do you perform?
We assess the condition of the electrical installation, review compliance with applicable standards, and analyze whether the system can support expansions or new loads. Each study ends with clear findings and recommendations.
How long do electrical studies take?
It depends on the size of the plant and the information available. A small installation can be surveyed in a short visit, while larger plants may need several days of field work plus analysis time for the report.
Do you need to shut down the plant for the study?
Most of the survey is done with the plant operating. Some measurements or inspections inside equipment may require short outages, which we coordinate in advance with your team.
Will the study tell us if we can add more load?
Yes. A load and capacity analysis compares your current demand with the capacity of transformers, feeders, and protection, and tells you what needs to change before you add new equipment.
Do electrical studies help with NOM compliance?
Yes. A compliance review identifies points that do not meet NOM-001-SEDE-2012 and related standards, so you can correct them before an audit. We work in accordance with the NOM standards that apply to each installation.
What do we receive at the end?
You receive a technical report with photos, measurements, findings ranked by risk, and a prioritized action plan. If you need it, we can also quote and execute the recommended work.
What information should we prepare?
Share any single-line diagrams, equipment lists, utility bills, and maintenance records you have. If documentation is missing, we can include an electrical survey as part of the study.
